Whenever I run into unemployed actors, they always tell me about the latest callback, the latest movie project they came so close to getting, the latest cancelled show. In turn, I do the same - I tell them about my latest aspirations, my latest challenges, and so on. We always conclude our conversations by wishing each other well. All this suits me just fine, it is an affirmation that all is well, the planet is turning as it should, and the universe has not lost its sense of humor.
